Parent Portal is a web application that allows parents of students to view the student's "exercise book in the cloud". Currently it allows parents to view the student's work in Google Docs, in read-only mode. It does not require parents to have a Google Apps account - parents log into Parent Portal using the student's Google Apps user ID, along with another piece of student's private information (such as the student's school ID, as assigned by the student information system).
